A 57-minute exposure of the night sky over Dimadimalangat Islet off Cemento, Baler, Aurora. The foreground was illuminated by the setting first quarter moon. I was lucky to have Polaris right there just above the islet. It really made for a satisfying composition, imo.

Didn't use the in-cam noise reduction, so there are a few hot pixels floating around there.

I love the composition on this!
I've switched to using the 30 second series shot method... My camera suffers from horrible amp glow (I see yours had some issues too in the bottom right corner)
I set it to series mode with a 30 second exposure and clamp the shutter down with a rubber band and an eraser with a slot in it. Just have to make sure noise cancellation is off, so that the shutter delay is only about a second.
I then use a free program called startrails.exe to merge all the exposures together. Works great!

LIGHT TRAILS! really astounding! to top it off, the texture of the rocks in your foreground makes a really good contrast to your smooth circular lines!
